In America, on school days, students get up at seven o’clock. They wash their faces and eat a breakfast of eggs and ham, bread and a glass of milk. For a simple breakfast, some school children have a bowl of dried cereal (谷类食品) with fruit and milk. These children usually do not eat meat at breakfast. Then they put their books in a backpack, and go to school. Many students walk to their schools. Some of them go to their schools by bus. When they arrive at half past eight in the morning, they meet their friends and talk about their activities. Some students like playing on the computer. Some like playing football in the football field. Most girls enjoy reading. They like talking and often talk a lot. Their classrooms are in excellent condition (条件好): modern, light, very large. At noon or twelve o’clock, the students usually have lunch in the canteen at school. They do not have a short sleep or nap in the afternoon.
