Technology-based teaching is creating new educational systems that anyone from anywhere can access. The key challenge for universities is to evolve from a teacher-centered model of education to a student-centered model. The challenge for governments is that they have to develop new funding approaches and new quality assessment procedures. Lifelong learning is increasingly crucial because people have to work long hours to support themselves in changing economies. Nowadays, many universities begin to provide newly developed courses for people who want to acquire more knowledge and skills. Along with the trend for providing programs for part-time adults, the main task of the university has changed much. With the aid of teaching technology, people can learn anytime and anywhere. To develop lifelong learning only concerns with the universities.
